Family Sports Golf Course
About
The golf course at the Family Sports Golf Course (formerly known as Family Golf Center at Centennial Airport) is a nine-hole course with a links-style layout. The course is perfect for beginners and kids, therefore making it a perfect place for a golf outing for the entire family. Richard Phelps, an extremely popular course designer in Colorado, created the course. The course is 2,241 yards and plays to a par of 31. Although it is a short course it features several challenging elements for golfers to really learn the game or just practice their short game. The average-sized greens are fairly undulating and there are generous fairways. The Family Sports Golf Course also features water hazards that come into play on some holes. The signature hole is the par-5 fifth hole, which is not only one of the lengthier holes of the course, it also plays uphill.

Great Course to Improve Your Short Game
I love this course. Its part of the South Suburban District network. Course is in wonderful condition and works great to book at the last minute or just walk on. They have a terrific practice facility also.
Play this course at least 5-8 times a summer.
Good executive golf course
Our first outing since December and this course helped knock the rust off our golf swing. Good balance of par 3 and 4 holes.
Great place for a quick 9
Nice executive 9. Numbers 8 and 9 are actually quite beautiful golf holes. The star of this course is actually the indoor outdoor driving range which has an artificial turf landing area.
Good to stretch your legs
If you have a couple hours after work, this is a good place to swing by and knock the ball around. The intention of the course is really just a place to get out and tune your game or take the kids for a round of golf. The green fee should tip you off that this is an inexpensive way to enjoy a little golf and if you take it as that it will be a great time. South Suburban does a good job to make use of the surroundings by having a tough par 3 finishing hole over a marsh area and between some deciduous trees as a way to spice up the round.
Great value. Superb practice facility.
Good variety of features for an executive course. Nice large practice facility with sand traps, pitching areas, putting greens and lighted driving range off the grass. Greens fees very reasonably priced. Also, good discounts on range balls.
This course is a great value and great for beginner golfers.
I've played golf here quite a bit and I think its been a great course to become a better golfer.
fall golf
staff is great and the practice facility is amazing but it is just an executive course.
I would mainly plug this course for those cheap, emergency 9 holes you are trying to slip in
This is only a 9 hole course and sometimes can get backed up but, good for that fair quick 9 that you are trying to get in at lunch or, taking the beginner golfer on the cheap. The guys in the shop do have an attitude (really, where do they study their customer skills at) and the other thing, yiou are right under the flight path of the nearby airport so, quiet is not the word for this place. They have a great practice are there
Great beginners course
New to golf. Great course to learn on,was not pressured to hurry up and play and staff was good to work with.
