Meadows Golf Club
About
Located in the Southwest Metro area, the golf course at the Meadows Golf Club has a links-style layout that provides a challenging and fun game for all golfers. The trio of Bradford Benz, J. Michael Poellot, and Richard Phelps designed this municipal, 18-hole course. It is just over 7,000 yards and plays to a par of 72. The course is situated against the foothills of the Rockies, providing nice views along the course. The risk-and-reward layout of the course features water hazards and bunkers. Meadows Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3, 8th hole, which require a shot over water to a well-bunkered and extremely sloped green.

Much better shape then last time
Last time we played this course it was in horrible shape with little to no grass in the fairways and greens. I was happy to see the course in much better shape.
Fix your divots
The fairways were in great shape. The greens were nice, but apparently some of the players don’t like to fix their divot. Please fix them even if they are not yours. Everyone benefits
Love this course but this time we played we had a group in front of us that were extremely disrespectful. Our tee time was 3:50 on 8/5 and the group in front of us caused a 20 min delay. They threatened me when I asked to play through and started taking longer out of spite. They also stole one of my balls at one point. Saw the lady in the back get out as they were going to the next tee box and picked up my ball. Love this course but thought these people needed to be known about. Hopefully staff will ban them from the course
Pro Shop Friendly
Very welcoming in the pro shop. Restaurant folks not so much.
Hidden costs and bad shape
They charge you $22 just to ride in a golf cart, can’t split the cost of the cart with a buddy.
The course was not in great shape. With all the rain we’ve been getting the greens should be smooth but they were bumpy with dead spots. Fairways weren't great either.
Greens are still rough here and there...
After all that May and June rain, the greens here are still bumpy and rough... only about 7 to 8 greens roll true from most places. That said, this layout is one of the best for a solid test of ones game... from the black or blue tees... from the whites, it's pitch-and-putt like any other course.
Greens were nice and tricky
There were no straight in putts Everyone had a break. A couple of fairways were in rough shape due the amontona of rain we’re have had in the last 45 days. If you hit an errand shot, good luck on finding your ball in them tall grass. It was fun playing the course.
1/3 of fairways recovering from winter kill. sand traps underwater or muddy due to rainy spring. few areas of muddy and/or underwater. course needs more time to recover. greens were hard.
Poor conditions
We have had A LOT of rain this year. The greens on the front 9 are missing about 1/3 of the grass very patchy and looks burnt out. How is this possible? There is no true roll bc they are soo terrible. There was a 50’ section of a fairway under water so they entire course was walking only, despite the course having full cart paths. Clearly just bad management. At $55 to walk I would suggest finding another course to play.
Good day!
I didn’t know they had added GPS to their carts so that was a nice bonus!
The Meadows Course Condition
For the most part the course was ok. We only played the back nine, and the fairway grass was consistently thin with a lot of barren spots, so we just moved our ball to a grassy patch. I suspect it will fill in better later in the summer.
I was only in one trap and it was rock hard (#18). They need to refill them with some decent sand.
Greens were a bit inconsistent, but typically hard and fast. A bog was formed in front of the 14th green which you couldn't hit out of. They should mark it ground under repair.
