The Knolls Course is one of two 18-hole, municipal courses at Riverdale Dunes Knolls Public Links, located in Brighton. The golf course is the smaller of the two at 6,756 yards, playing to a par of 71. The team of Perry and Pete Dye deigned the golf course and they included plenty of water hazards. The Dyes also included British-links style rough and bunkers and wide fairways. Although there are some trees, the course is mostly open. The South Platte River snakes its way through the Knolls course, allowing the wind to become a factor in the game. The scattered trees and the river give golfers lovely views while they play the golf course.
