Interlocken Golf Club - Vista/Eldorado
About
The Vista/Eldorado Course is one of three nine-hole courses at the Interlocken Golf Club. The courses are played in three 18-hole combinations. The mountainous terrain of the course features dramatic elevation changes of up to 400 feet. This combined with water hazards, bunkers, and native rough form a challenging game for any skill level. The demanding course along with its natural landscape and wildlife of the area create a truly unique golfing experience for guests at Interlocken Golf Club. Definitely not at many golf courses can golfers see a coyote or fox wandering about during their game. Golf Magazine ranked it as the third "Best Course in the Rocky Mountain Area."

Rude Starter, but course is really nice
We've played this course a bunch of times and always love it. It's in great shape and is a lot of fun to play. The only complaint we have (and have had many times in the past) is the negative attitude and rude demeanor of Charlie, the Starter. He has zero customer service skills, and every time he's the Starter at this course we end up starting our round in a bad mood. This review would have 5 stars if it wasn't for him.
Tough Greens
Greens were extremely fast with nasty pin placement on many of the holes. Late season conditions which were fairly good. Excellent Driving Range and Chipping and Putting area, which is included in the price along with cart which had GPS. Most tee boxes involved hitting over hazards, so be concervative on which tee you hit off of..
Nice Course
This might be the best course in North Metro Denver. Three very nice nines, with good course conditions. Can be pricey. Probably worth up to $70, but not $100.
Omni Interlocken Golf Club
The weather was terrific, the course was in pristine condition except for the 4 inch thick rough, but the pace of play was ridiculous. This is a three 9 hole golf club so there should not be a wait on every hole which we experienced yesterday.
Not worth the money
Always wanted to play this course, now I regret it. We played on a beautiful but very hot Sunday afternoon. I know we are lacking rain but the course is in bad shape. Tees have multiple brown and dead spots, fairways are the same. Greens are ok but very slow.
96 degrees on a Sunday and no refreshment cart for the 4 plus hours we were out.
A hot, unsatisfying day. 1st and last visit.
Greens were in terrible shape
It was a scorcher that day so didnt expect the greens to be in great shape but they had just aerated the week before.
No mention of this on the website which you would think so when your paying $90 for a round pf golf. What was weird was that every tee was soaked, so much so we were slipping on almost every tee. Great views of boulder and the surrounding areas. Would want to play this course again when its in better shape.
Nice layout close to Boulder
Challenging course playing from the tips on Sunshine and Eldorado nines. Need to hit the fairways on this links style course and be below the holes on the greens.
Played all 27
We played all three 9’s. Each as good as the last. Pace was great and the conditions couldn’t have been better. Will definitely be returning.
Crazy Fun Course !!
I had a great time from start to finish. Initially it was a little confusing because the course is 3 nine hole courses which two of the three are used on any given day while the third is closed for maintenance. For instance, when I went I played the Sunshine and Eldorado while the Vista was being cared for. When you play it could be different.
If you're new to the course ask directions to the first tee boxes. The staff is excellent and very helpful if you need assistance.
For instance my back 9 was the Eldorado course. Being new I would have never found the first hole without asking. By the way, from the club house go down the path, take a left, go under two tunnels, take another left, go up the hill and you're there. :o)
The course is impeccable. Understandably since they have each cared for every three days. The views and terrain are worth the green fees alone. The greens are outrageous fun. They were fast and had more twist and turns than the roller coasters in Sandusky Ohio. Three putt heaven !!
Finally, get there early for the free range and putting green.
Love this course and especially the Vista 9
Greta course and very good service here. Midweek afternoons are very fast and people like to play quick here and don't come if you are slow, you will get pushed...which is a good things these days. Fast Greens, nice design
Excellent layout great shape
Great staff from start to finish ,course was in exceptional shape from tee to green .single cart option available plenty of them I am playing again tomorrow and the starter offered to store my clubs and set the up following day .
Would highly recommend this golf course great value
Great course, great staff, a treat
This is a really nice layout with stimulating holes and plenty of challenge. The tee time popped up as a hotdeal last second, uncommon, hard to pass up! The staff made the check-in process and warm-up a breeze. The range and practice putting green were open. Up to 3 carts/tee time were available. Contrary to cooler month rounds here, a cart is very nice in the summer. We were paired up with a couple of friendly guys, nice. The GPS system is synched with the actual pin locations, sweet! The round started out almost perfectly. The course then breezed up a bit and engaged us for a good challenge, the course won, but it was a fun and engaging ride. The course is in fine shape, great fairways, reasonable rough, consistent but tricky greens. This is definitely a course where if you have enough time, you want to play all 27! Ah, the folks here make it easy to leave the woes of COVID-19 behind...at least for a few hours. Thanks!
Go play here!
Lovely course in Broomfield. Felt like a much more pricer course than what I paid. Thanks for letting the average people get on and play!
