The golf course at the Family Golf Center at Centennial Airport is a nine-hole course with a links-style layout. The course is perfect for beginners and kids, therefore making it a perfect place for a golf outing for the entire family. Richard Phelps, an extremely popular course designer in Colorado, created the course. The course is 2,241 yards and plays to a par of 31. Although it is a short course it features several challenging elements for golfers to really learn the game or just practice their short game. The average-sized greens are fairly undulating and there are generous fairways. The Family Golf Center at Centennial Airport also features water hazards that come into play on some holes. The signature hole is the par-5 fifth hole, which is not only one of the lengthier holes of the course, it also plays uphill.
