The fairly flat course has wide, tree-lined fairways and water hazards come into play on some holes. There are also a good amount of sand bunkers. Beautiful lakes situated on the course create a tranquil atmosphere. The course is easily walkable and the beautiful landscape makes for a nice stroll. The signature hole of this municipal course is the par-5 10th hole. It is considered to have lovely, scenic views. Aurora Hills Golf Course's greens are bent grass while the fairways use Bermuda grass.
